Hello from Washington State! I just started barefooting full time 3 weeks ago, and everyone asks me if I will do it in the winter. If it can be done in Canada, it certainly can be done in the lower 48. Anyways, I'm not even thinking about the winter - just enjoying the summer and right now! I'm hoping this list will be more intimate and manageable than the SBL.
Would love to find others close to me to hike with - I live in Olympia - anyone?
I'm a homeschool mom, natural builder, artist, and a 1st generation Hungarian American.
My 9 yr old daughter loves experimenting with me - whether it's barefooting, building, or creating something. My 12 yr old son is skeptical of most things I do, and not interested. My husband of 14 yrs doesn't have the same interests, but is very supportive of my wild, spontaneous nature, taking everything in stride including when I changed my name 2 yrs ago!
