Health benefits I've seen

There are great health bennefits that come from going barefoot. Check this section for the low down.

Health benefits I've seen

My own personal experience has proved to me, beyond any doubt, that bare feet are the only proper footwear. Within just a few weeks after I started 'footing I began to notice improved circulation in my lower legs. I started in mid-winter and exposed my feet to temperatures as low as the teens, this greatly improved my tolerance to low temperatures. My body's temperature regulation system works much better than before. I also no longer suffer from lower back pain when I wake up in the morning.

All this is purely anecdotal evidence, of course. But, there's no placebo effect involved. I did not expect going barefoot to improve the health of anything other than my feet. However, your feet truly are the foundation of your entire body. If they are misaligned by footwear the rest of your body has to adjust to compensate. It's not hard to see how this compensation can have an adverse effect.
Stand or fall, the choice is yours.

Reason is what separates humans from the beasts.

Right On! For me going barefoot has proven it's worth. I would have to say my bigggest benefits are from the fact that it has strengthened my legs and feet helping me to walk. I have CP and have always had difficulties with my legs. In its own way barefooting acts as a form of physical therapy for me.
