Speedway stores

Questions, thoughts and facts about where, when and how to be un-shod in public places

I think that's an excellent letter. I might go so far as to call it perfectly worded. It should serve as a template for anybody who wishes to contact a corporate entity in this regard.

Seems the whole reason for the delayed response to these letters you send is that they're trying to determine the polite way to tell you to put on shoes. Send them another note asking if you also need safety glasses or a hardhat to enter their store. They'll of course say "no" and open the door for you to ask them why they'll allow customers to fracture their skull but want to make sure they don't stub their toe.

Now that was brilliant. Definitely cheeky. I doubt it will win them over, but I bet it felt good to write it. I love pointing out when people are stupid, or at least intellectually inconsistent.

What a wishy-washy non-response that was. So there's no corporate policy one way or the other and they don't see the need to establish one.
