I'll bet getting the link on that page has done more than anything else to grow this board. Give yourself a pat on the back.

Wikipedia is a user edited site. in the past I have found that the pro-barefooting/anti-barefooting feel of the site can vary from time to time. A while back I edited the Physical education page to include some information supporting the use/encoragement of bare feet for children takeing PE. The information I included was more reflective of the UK approch than the US approch. I went back a few weeks later to find the someone had removed all refrences to barefoot related health benefits from the page. :(

The moral of the story is: Don't get too excited by a pro-barefoot artical on Wikipedia, because a shoddie might delete it tommarrow

I hadn't realized it was so easy to edit things on there. Seems pointless to have an information site that can be so easily altered by people to reflect their own ideals instead of reality.
