Getting them clean

No matter how much you may enjoy the black sole look, there comes a time when you need to get your feet clean. Turns out there's a very easy way to remove even the most stuborn crud from your feet. All it takes is your run-of-the-mill mechanic's hand cleaner, such as "Fast Orange, "Gojo", or whatever brand you fancy. These are designed to cut heavy grime, and they do a spectacular job of it, especially the ones with the scrubbing grit in them.

I Love walking in wet sand for cleaning off all sorts of grime. It can take some time to remove the real stuborn staining like tar or motor oil , but who wouldn't like to spend a few extra minutes walking on the waters edge. Snow is another good cleaner but most times in the winter the mud is frozen so isn't a problem. In the spring it's cool to leave muddy prints on the white snow. Both methods are natural and fun.

Snow is an amazing cleaner. Unfortunately, I don't get to walk on sandy beaches very often. I've also discovered that wet asphalt does an excellent job of scrubbing the soles clean.
