Howdy Folks

Thanks for your kind words.

I am lucky. I really don't have to wear shoes.

I do run barefoot, including marathons and further.

I am also intrigued by minimal sandals that have been used for 1000s of years, especially when I am running for more than 20 miles in the mountains.

I actually started making huaraches, Mexican running sandals, and have found them to be an excellent running sandal.

I use a 4mm sole which is just thick enough to give some protection and still give a feeling of the ground. I also use hemp straps.

All I can say about barefoot running is that it is totally doable and worth the effort. Shoes injure feet, so avoid them if you can.
